​Online virtual supervision is synchronous (real-time) audio and video interactions between a supervisor and a clinician who are not in the same physical location.  Are you well versed in the differences between “traditional” face to face supervision and telesupervision? The specific requirements of such and the ethical considerations?  Join us as we explore this and more!  6 NBCC/SW CE Hours.  (3 of which are in Ethics).  This meets ABEC's 2 CE hours for supervisors to perform virtual supervision, and also meets ABEC's requirement of 5 CE hours in supervision per each supervisor renewal. 

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES INCLUDE:
Explore the different types of technology required for telesupervision.
Identify the appropriate elements needed for a telesupervision contract and the Client’s Informed Consent Form Specific to Therapy with a supervisee
Explore how to assess a supervisee’s fit for providing telemental health services, and attending telesupervision 
Learn the appropriate documentation requirements for telesupervision
Identify best practices concerning evaluating a supervisee.
Explore ethical guidelines for telesupervision.
