The Power of Personality: Applying Personality Principles, Pathology, and Typing for Improved Client Outcomes

A live, interactive online training via Zoom. This workshop is for mental health professionals provided by Michelle Pruett, LPC-S. 

Personality is key to mental health treatment. Personality disorders present unique challenges in treatment. Understanding personality types helps mental health professionals tailor their treatment planning and engagement approaches to maximize treatment efficacy. This training is designed to equip mental health professionals with an overview understanding of personality disorders and personality types. We’ll examine the origins of personality, definitions, and treatment options of various personality disorders. We will then examine personality typing systems and how they can help us better relate to ourselves and our clients to create more personalized and effective care.

• Thursday, February 15^th – Friday, February 16^th, 2024
• 8:30a until 3:30p each day
• 12 NBCC/ABSWE approved hours
